Time Slot Booking Plan Configuration Help

Overview

The Time Slot Booking plan lets you define fixed time slots in advance — such as "Morning session (09:00–12:00)" and "Afternoon session (13:00–18:00)" — that guests can select when booking. Members with an active membership can book slots for free.

This guide covers:

Step 1: Create a Price Plan

  1. Open Plan Management from the main navigation
  2. Click Create New Plan
  3. Enter a Plan Name (e.g., "Studio Booking Plan", "Meeting Room A")
  4. Select Time Slot Booking Plan as the plan type
  5. Configure currency, tax rate, and other basic settings
  6. Click Save Plan

Important: The plan type cannot be changed after saving. Make sure to select "Time Slot Booking Plan".


Step 2: Configure Time Slots

Switching Day Type Tabs

The time slot configuration area has three tabs: Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday. Each can be configured independently.

Weekday Monday through Friday (determined automatically by the system)
Weekend Saturday and Sunday
Holiday Dates matching the holiday calendar

Adding a Time Slot

  1. Select the target day type tab
  2. Click Add Time Slot
  3. Fill in the following fields on the new card

Editing a Time Slot

Click on any field in an existing slot card to edit it directly. Changes take effect when the entire form is saved.

Removing a Time Slot

Click the trash can icon in the top-right of the slot card. Deletion cannot be undone.


To display the time slot plan on the guest booking page, you need to associate it with a booking configuration.

  1. Go to Booking ManagementPlan Settings tab
  2. Edit the target configuration (or create a new one)
  3. In the Room Type × Plan section, select the time slot plan you created
  4. Save the configuration

Detailed Features

Feature 1: Independent Settings Per Day Type

You can define different slot structures and pricing for weekdays, weekends, and holidays independently.

Feature 2: Enabling and Disabling Individual Slots

The Enabled checkbox on each slot card lets you publish or unpublish individual slots without deleting them. Disabled slots will not appear on the guest booking page. Use this to temporarily pause bookings for a specific slot.

Feature 3: Free Booking for Members

Members with an active membership can book any time slot for free (¥0) regardless of the fee configured. Guests without membership pay the normal fee and are directed to Stripe for payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I set a quota (capacity) per slot?

Yes. The quota is set through the Room Type × Plan mapping in your booking configuration. The number of units assigned to the room type determines the maximum available slots. The guest booking page shows "N slots remaining" accordingly.

Q: What happens if I configure overlapping time slots?

The system allows overlapping slots to be saved, and both will appear to guests. It is recommended to configure non-overlapping time ranges.

Q: Can I set the fee to zero?

Yes. Setting the fee to 0 allows guests to book without payment, just like members. Use this when you want to offer free access to non-member guests as well.

Q: When is payment collected?

Payment is collected when the guest completes the Stripe checkout on the booking confirmation page. The reservation is not confirmed until payment succeeds.

Q: Can I configure a cancellation policy?

There is no built-in cancellation policy setting for the Time Slot Booking plan. Cancellations should be handled manually by facility administrators according to your facility's policy.


Troubleshooting

Time slots are not appearing on the guest booking page

Check the following:

  1. Confirm the plan type is set to Time Slot Booking Plan
  2. Confirm that slots have been added under the correct day type tab
  3. Confirm the Enabled checkbox is checked on each slot
  4. Confirm this plan is registered under Room Type × Plan in the booking configuration
  5. Confirm the booking configuration is set to Enabled

Slots show "Full" and guests cannot select them

The available count has reached 0 for those slots. Increase the unit count in the room type configuration, or check for existing bookings.

"Failed to load slot information" error

This may indicate a network issue or a temporary server problem. Reload the page and try again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator.
