Time Slot Booking Help (Guest)

Overview

The UnlockOS Booking App lets you choose from fixed time slots — such as a Morning Session or Afternoon Session — and book your preferred slot online. Once confirmed, you will receive an access code to enter the facility.

Booking Flow

  1. Select a date on the calendar
  2. Choose a room and plan
  3. Select a time slot
  4. Enter your guest information
  5. Pay via Stripe (for paid slots)
  6. Booking confirmed — receive your access code

Detailed Features

Feature 1: Selecting a Date on the Calendar

When you open the booking page, a monthly calendar is displayed.

  • Color-coded dots below each date indicate availability
Dot Color Meaning
Green Slots available
Amber (yellow) Limited availability (busy)
Red Fully booked (cannot be selected)
None / Gray Past date (cannot be selected)
  • Use the arrow buttons at the top of the calendar to navigate between months
  • Tap a date to view available time slots for that day

Feature 2: Choosing a Room and Plan

After selecting a date, a list of available room types and plans is displayed.

  • Each card shows the room name, description, capacity, and price
  • If the facility has uploaded photos, a swipeable image carousel appears at the top of the card
  • Tap the Reserve button on the card you want to proceed

Feature 3: Selecting a Time Slot

After choosing a room and plan, the time slot selection screen is displayed.

Each slot shows:

Slot Name Name set by the facility (e.g., "Morning Session")
Time Start time to end time (e.g., 09:00 – 12:00)
Price Fixed fee for this slot
Remaining Number of slots still available
  • Tap the slot you want — it will be highlighted with a blue border and a checkmark
  • Tap Next to proceed
  • Fully booked slots (red dot) cannot be tapped

Feature 4: Entering Guest Information

After selecting a time slot, the guest information form is displayed.

Field Required Description
Full Name Yes Name of the guest making the booking
Email Address Yes Where booking confirmation will be sent
Phone Number Yes Emergency contact
Notes No Special requests for the facility

Some facilities may require additional information such as passport number, nationality, date of birth, or address.

Tap Confirm Reservation when all fields are filled.

Feature 5: Payment via Stripe

For paid slots, a Stripe payment screen appears after entering guest information.

  • Enter your credit card details and tap Pay
  • Do not close the screen while payment is processing
  • Once payment succeeds, you will be taken to the booking completion screen automatically

Slots priced at ¥0 skip the payment screen and confirm immediately.

Feature 6: Booking Confirmation and Access Code

When your booking is confirmed, the completion screen is displayed.

  • Your access code will be available after checking in at the facility (hidden initially for security)
  • Tap View Reservations to manage your bookings
  • Your reservation ID is shown at the bottom of the screen

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does it cost to book a time slot?

Each time slot has a fixed fee set by the facility. The price is shown on the slot selection screen and again on the guest information screen.

Q: How do I cancel my reservation?

In-app cancellation is not currently supported. Please contact the facility directly.

Q: The time slot I want is showing as full

The remaining count for that slot is 0, so it cannot be selected. Please choose a different date or contact the facility.

Q: My payment failed

Double-check your card details and try again. If the issue persists, contact your card provider.

Q: My access code is not showing after booking

Access codes are issued after check-in. Please verify that your reservation status is "Confirmed" in the reservations list.

Q: I cannot select my preferred date

Past dates cannot be selected. Dates showing a red dot are fully booked across all available slots — please choose a different date.


Troubleshooting

Slot information fails to load

If you see "Failed to load slot information", try the following:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Reload the page
  3. Try selecting a different date
  4. If the issue continues, contact the facility

No available slots are shown

If "No slots available for this date" is displayed, the facility may not have configured time slots for that day. Try a different date.
